#8 Multi-Functional Room

A space that wears many hats provides a haven for the owner. This was a very odd shaped room that presented many challenges. The Client wanted to have his home office, a TV viewing area as well his exercise equipment in this space.
 
The window by the desk was previously a sliding glass door. By changing it into a window the designer was able to gain floor area. New bamboo floors, custom built-ins, and an unusual placement of furniture helped in making the large and awkward room comfortable and very functional.
