Anjum's design expertise and extensive knowledge of construction have proven invaluable for many projects in San Diego County for over fifteen years. She has garnered an ASID Design Excellence award for one of her unique residential projects and has been a visiting lecturer at the Design Institute.

Anjum has been extensively interviewed, quoted and published in San Diego Home /Garden Lifestyles, Décor and Style and the Union-Tribune as well as in a variety of books. Some of these include East West Style and Big Ideas for Small Spaces by Rockport, and Garden Style and Ultimate Decorating by Publisher's International Limited. Her kitchen project on the ASID tour, which was on the cover of Décor and Style magazine, received this comment from the Editor:
